Make sure you have an Animated Java Rig project open. If you don't, the Animated Java menu won't show up.

Make sure you're using a version of Minecraft newer than 1.19.4. Animated Java uses the item display entities introduced in 1.19.4, and will not work on older versions of Minecraft.
Double check that your Target Minecraft Version
is set correctly in your project settings.
If your Target Minecraft Version
is properly set, then try summoning the model without any rotation: execute rotated 0 0 run function animated_java:<project_name>/summon
.
Make sure you've reloaded your Resource and Data Packs, and that your textures are in the right Resource Pack.
