Animated Java 0.x (Legacy)
Animated Java has undergone a complete rewrite since its original release. The legacy 0.x versions used a fundamentally different approach based on armor stands and are no longer maintained.

Migrating from Legacy
There is currently no automated migration path from legacy Animated Java 0.x projects to the current Blueprint format. Legacy projects must be recreated from scratch.

Current Version
The current version of Animated Java targets Minecraft 1.20.4 and above and uses Minecraft’s Display Entity system (item_display, text_display, block_display) for rendering, which provides significantly better performance and visual fidelity compared to armor stands.
